Lakeland Wildlife Oasis is pleased to offer an education outreach programme for local schools!

These visits will involve a member (or two) of the education team visiting the school, and taking a workshop on one of the topics offered. Workshops can be offered for up to 25 students at a time, and we will also offer talks for assembly group of any size.

For some projects animals can be brought to the school, so kids can get a real encounter with the creatures they are learning about.

Age ranges are for guidelines; topics can be adapted for any age group

Most workshops can be conducted in 60-90 mins, but could be adapted for shorter sessions or full day workshops. A discounted rate is offered for a follow-up zoo visit.

Workshop topics can cover any topic you like, from habitats and adaptations to minibeasts.
